The ladies of Kappa Psi Epsilon, Delta Chapter at UCLA would like to formally invite YOU to our 7th annual "Songs of Consciousness," Open Mic Night. It's going to be a big event, and we want you to be a part of it! So spread the word. :]

What: Songs of Consciousness: Open Mic Night, "Change for Change"
When: Thursday, May 13, 2010
Time: 6pm - 10pm
Where: Kerckhoff Coffee House, UCLA Campus
Host: Kappa Psi Epsilon Sorority, Delta Chapter, UCLA

This open mic night is an outlet for performers, artists, and regular people to come out and share their talents. Through these performances, we hope to provoke inspiration, thought, and change in the audience.

In the past, performers have performed anything about: the influence of women in their lives, the struggles they see within their community, the passion they have for their community, their individual passions (life experiences, emotions, love, etc.) Any and all performances are welcome, as long as it has to do with the theme "Songs of Consciousness." Basically, if it has significant meaning to the artist, to the community at large, or if it means anything to you as an individual (life experience, emotions, etc.) it is welcome! :]

Contact:
Please contact any UCLA Kappa, or you can directly contact Samantha Cajucom if you (or anyone you know) would like to perform and the preferred time slot (6pm - 10pm).

Samantha Cajucom (661) 645-5992
srcajucom@gmail.com

*Note to confirmed performers:
You are all more than welcome to check in at 6pm and hang out for the whole event, which we highly recommend. However, if necessary, you can check in 30 minutes prior to your time slot. (Performances may go by a little faster than expected; checking in early is for assurance that the show runs smoothly).

Thaaaank you and we look forward to your performances and seeing you there! :]
